Welcome to Boomm! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Boomm mobile application (“App”), operated by Boomm India (“Boomm”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you meet the minimum age required under applicable law in your jurisdiction and are legally capable of accepting these Terms. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you are using the App with any consent required under applicable law. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of any updates to these Terms.

2. Platform Nature & Disclaimer

Boomm is a social discussion and learning platform focused on finance-related topics. Boomm does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or professional advice of any kind. All content shared on the App is user-generated and intended solely for discussion or educational purposes.
Users are solely responsible for their decisions and must conduct their own research and exercise independent judgment before making any financial or investment decisions.
Boomm does not permit direct buy or sell recommendations. Users must not post specific investment instructions, including explicit buy/sell calls, entry or exit prices, target prices, or guaranteed returns. Any such content may be removed without notice.

3. User Content

You are solely responsible for any content (including text, images, videos, polls, and posts) you upload or share on the App (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
  • You own the content or have all necessary rights and permissions to share it;
  • The content does not violate any laws, third-party rights, or these Terms;
  • The content complies with all applicable platform policies;
  • You understand that your content may be viewed by other users.
By submitting User Content, you grant Boomm a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, revocable license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and moderate such content solely for operating and improving the App. Ownership of your content remains with you. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, or remove User Content that violates these Terms or is reported as inappropriate, including content related to child sexual abuse/exploitation (CSAE), grooming, or any material prohibited by law or community standards.

4. Third-Party Platform Content

Boomm may display or host content originally published on third-party platforms only where the original author has voluntarily submitted such content or provided explicit consent.
Boomm does not engage in automated scraping, crawling, mirroring, or unauthorized extraction of data from any third-party platform.
  • Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any third-party-originated content they submit complies with the applicable terms, policies, and intellectual property rights of those platforms;
  • Boomm is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform;
  • Boomm may remove such content upon request from the original author, platform owner, or pursuant to legal or regulatory requirements.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and legally. You will not:
  • Post content that is abusive, offensive, obscene, defamatory, or discriminatory;
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate others;
  • Share false, misleading, or deceptive information;
  • Use the App to send spam, advertisements, or unauthorized commercial messages;
  • Circumvent or interfere with our moderation or safety systems;
  • Upload, share, or attempt to distribute content involving CSAE, grooming, or any illegal materials.
Boomm reserves the right to block users, delete content, or terminate access at its sole discretion, especially in cases involving threats to user safety, child protection, or platform integrity.

6. Content Moderation & Community Safety

Boomm is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful space. We have implemented the following measures:
  • Reporting Mechanism: Users can report content that violates community guidelines or laws.
  • Blocking Tool: Users can block others to avoid unwanted interactions.
  • Manual Moderation: Reported content is reviewed, and appropriate action is taken within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Zero-Tolerance Policy: Users who repeatedly or severely violate our policies, including CSAE or grooming behavior, may be permanently suspended.
Boomm operates as an intermediary under applicable Indian laws. Anonymous posting does not shield users from accountability, and reported or flagged content and related logs may be retained for compliance, investigation, or cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

7. Account Management & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via the Boomm app or by visiting: https://boomm.in/delete-account
  • You must log in and verify your request;
  • Your account and data will be scheduled for automatic deletion after a 7-day cooling-off period;
  • You may cancel the request within this period by contacting us at team@boomm.in;
  • After 7 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Deleting your account does not automatically remove User Content you have posted. Such content may continue to be visible to other users and may be retained by Boomm for operational continuity, moderation reference, or legal compliance. Where required by law, such content will be anonymized or disassociated from your identity.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, software, content, and features, is the property of Boomm or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works of the App;
  • Use Boomm’s trademarks or logos without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Boomm does not guarantee that the App will be secure, error-free, or always available.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boomm shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
  • Your use or inability to use the App;
  • Any unauthorized access to or loss of your data or content;
  • Any content posted by other users.
Boomm’s total aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the amount paid by you to Boomm in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower.

11. Termination

Boomm may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, or pose a risk to the community, platform integrity, or user safety.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Mumbai, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other notices or agreements posted within the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and Boomm.

14. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
Where required, we will notify users of material changes through the App or other appropriate channels.
Your continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
